info / help

a 3-oscillator synth living in your browser — mono or poly, with glide between notes and a built-in arpeggiator. 3x oscillators — mutable, with waveform (including pulse-width and wavefolding), octave/detune, and live mini-scopes — plus FM (osc2/osc3 → osc1), a resonant filter, stereo pan, an LFO you can route to almost any knob in the rack, bitcrusher, delay, algorithmic reverb, and a master-bus saturator with a choice of clipping algorithm and an output ceiling — LFO rate and delay time can lock to BPM instead of raw Hz. play with the keyboard below, your computer keys (A–; row, Z/X or the ◀▶ buttons to shift octaves), or a connected MIDI device; program a beat (chords included, up to 64 steps) in the sequencer, save/load your patch as a JSON preset (master volume stays untouched), and export an MP3 whenever you like.

tips on mobile, flip the silent/mute switch off and turn your volume up before tapping "start synth" — it's browser audio, so a muted phone means no sound  ·  hit 🎲 randomize for instant inspiration, "reset to init patch" always gets you back  ·  "panic" instantly silences everything if a patch gets away from you  ·  save your favorite patches with "save as…" so they're there next time you open this page.

upper 1

lower 0  ·  Z / X

no MIDI device connected

two rows, each with its own octave control  ·  computer keys: A S D F G H J K L ; (white)  ·  W E T Y U O P (black, lower row)  ·  Z / X or ◀▶ shifts the lower row, upper row has its own ◀▶  ·  hold and drag across keys to glide in one press  ·  poly mode lets chords ring and multi-touch too  ·  turn on the arpeggiator below and held notes will arpeggiate instead of sounding directly

Sequencer

click empty space to add a note, double-click a note to delete it  ·  drag a note to move it, drag its right edge to stretch  ·  drag empty space to box-select, shift-click to add to selection  ·  long-press or right-click a note for velocity/duplicate/delete  ·  ctrl/cmd+C/V copy-paste, ctrl/cmd+D duplicate, delete/backspace removes

arrangement

10 patterns, switch with the squares above  ·  chain patterns into a simple arrangement to play them in order  ·  record captures until you stop it, export pattern bounces one loop of the current pattern, export arrangement bounces the whole chain  ·  both export mp3

Drum Machine

click a pad to play it live, click a grid cell to program a step, hit play and jam along  ·  keys 1-7 trigger kick/snare/clap/lo tom/hi tom/closed hat/open hat  ·  kit swaps the sound of every voice, not the pattern  ·  shares tempo with the sequencer above — play/stop either side starts both together

Chopper

gross-beat-style time/volume mangler on the whole mix — off by default  ·  click a step to cycle: off → gate → repeat → scratch → tape-stop  ·  runs on its own clock synced to bpm whenever it's on, independent of the sequencer/drums  ·  scratch/stop are delay-based approximations, not true reversed playback
